What I liked about this version was that the earlier versions were trickier, lulling one into betting big, by offering a great hand. Since this is a 'modern' version from 2007, it's logical to assume there were sound effects, and if so, this rip may have failed to include them. The constantly appearing nag screen reminding to add another player may be turned off from the Options menu, by unchecking the box that is checked by default. Something seemed off when I used the 'PATCH' from 'Game Extras' at this page's bottom (under the 'Download' button), and I switched to the original 'SPPv4.exe' file that worked fine.
